The eagerly awaited lists include no fewer than 119 wines from our growers - up from last year's total of 98. Three wines with the 'exceptional' three star rating also have a label, signifying they are also strongly recommended by the Hachette committee. Four with a two star 'excelent wine' rating also have labels.

A total of 26 wines have two stars and 59 have one star. 22 wines have citations.

Every year, almost 1,000 wine experts sample over 30,000 wines in blind tastings to find those which best represent their appellation and are judged worthy of inclusion in the prestigious publication. Hachette is considered the definitive guide to French wine and growers eagerly await its annual publication. It is used as a standard industry reference for quality wine.
